6,000 years ago, "China’s first fragrance" was born in Xinghua Village, Shanxi. The ancestors of Xinghua Village used to brew the earliest artificial grain Liquor in Chinese history, which started the 6,000-year history of peanuts in Xinghua Village.

YEARS OF FAMOUS LIQUOR HISTORY
From the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Sanluo wine was the hallmark. With the improvement of the saccharification and fermentation ability of distiller’s yeast and the alcohol content, Fenqing wine was produced and fell to the ground. The eleventh volume of "Book of the Northern Qi" records the story of Gao Zhan, Emperor Wucheng of the Northern Qi Dynasty, and Xiaoyu, King of Kangshu, Henan, admiring Fenqing wine: "The emperor was in Jinyang."

YEARS OF HISTORY OF DISTILLED SPIRITS
During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Chinese distilled liquor began to spread, and the Xinghua Village liquor brewing process became increasingly complete and finalized. Song Boren’s "A Brief History of Wine" of the Yuan Dynasty recorded more than 100 famous wines at that time, among which "Fenzhou Qianhe Wine" and "Lamb Wine" were among the best.

YEARS OF STANFORD HISTORY
In 1982, the Jinzhong Archaeological Team, jointly organized by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the Shanxi Institute of Archeology and Jilin University Archeology, unearthed a large number of artifacts from the middle of the Yangshao Culture (about 6,000 years ago) to the east of Dongbao Village, Xinghua Village Town, where the Fenjiu Group is located. During the Shang and Zhou dynasties (approximately 3,000 years ago), there were living utensils with a history spanning more than 3,000 years.

YEARS OF POETRY AND LIQUOR HISTORY
During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the people of Xinghua Village used the three major processes of distiller’s yeast, solid-state fermentation, and distillation at the same time, and Fenqing liquor became a dry and huo liquor with advanced quality. More than 1,200 years ago, the great poet Du Mu crossed the Yellow River eastward and came to Fenzhou to pay homage to his great-grandfather during the Qingming Festival.
